We believe there are three things that make up a truly memorable musical performance:
- The skills, attitude and feeling of the performer(s)
- The qualities of the instrument(s) including voices
- The ambience of the venue
Today's music technology has reached a level sophistication that allows almost magical clarity and precision. It also allows a degree of technical intervention and manipulation that delivers "performances" that can never be heard live.
Although the process of
converting sound to numbers and having computers "calculate" the music at tremendous speeds seems the ultimate in intervention, the process of putting
music on CD (and getting it off again) involves less compromise than any earlier technology.

Our goal is to make the best possible use of the latest technology, using the least possible intervention to capture the essence of your perfomance.
We will go out of our way to make recording technology as accessible and unobtrusive as possible. The sterile perfection of the recording studio and the world's finest artificial reverberation processors do not produce the equivalent of a great live performance in an acoustically appropriate venue.
The performance is up to you....
